If you've been before, not much this year.  If you are a newcomer, this is not your average craft fair by a LONG SHOT.  There is a reason most vendors return year after year.  You'll find all you need to know in this year's Vendor Information & Application Booklet.

Best Vendor Display Contest

Volunteers have donated many thousands of hours carefully crafting an authentic Old World atmosphere for Christkindlmarkt.  They continue to spend hundreds of hours every year in setup and assembly to make this an event that draws more visitors every year.  Everything from lighting and decor to available food and drink to the design of the vendor market stalls and sales table displays are intended to extend this feel throughout the venue.  We encourage you to carry this through in your sales areas.

Ideas 

 

• Wrapping paper or fabric make for great backdrops  

• Add a riser to your tables for a second tier. 

• Hang lightweight decor or products from bracing.

Rules

You may use clips, clamps, pins or removable adhesives in the 2x2 wooden frames to hang  items from the walls and windows  To avoid overloading circuits, please ask about any electrical items you may want to add.  LED lighting only!  If you want to decorate your area the day before the event, please contact us to schedule access.  This is especially important for sales tables since they will not be set up until Friday, November 27th.  No ladders are to be used (the insurance company frowns on that).

Awards

A panel of judges will determine the winners for the best market stall and best table displays.  Prizes will awarded before the end of the event.  Best Market Stall prize is $100.  Best Sales Table prize is $50.  In the event of a tie, prizes will be evenly split among winners.
