Is life overwhelming?
Our Lord says, come to me for I am gentle and lowly of heart,
and I will give you rest.
Life brings lots of questions and sometimes reading books and listening to podcasts just doesn’t bring the answers we feel the need for. Sometimes an in-person meeting is much
more effective than one from a distance through various media. Sometimes we just need to come in and sit down with the Lord. That is one of the great gifts of Eucharistic Adoration. There He is, His heart the Eucharist in the monstrance, as if at His desk, waiting for anyone who needs to, to come in and see Him.
In the silence of an adoration chapel, or when there is adoration in your parish church, that is the time and place for a private appointment with Jesus Christ. Come and see. Come and pour out your heart to Him. Come and listen. Quietly share space together as we do with so many others in our life, but this time with God.
